Outlook Gardens Aged Care Facility opened in 1994 and recently completed a new modern building with 34 beds. Outlook Gardens now provides a total 95 “Ageing in Place” beds, catering for respite, low care, high care, dementia and palliative care residents.

There are currently places available.

Aged-Care residents are provided with individual self-contained bed-sitting rooms with a built in wardrobe and a full ensuite. Residents are encouraged to make their rooms “their own”. Items of furniture, linen, décor and treasured pieces, depending on space available, are all welcome.
A full laundry service is located on site and a qualified chef prepares fresh and nutritious meals, offering selections of dishes at all meals.  Special dietary requirements are also able to be catered for.

Outlook Gardens is comfortable, relaxing and home-like. Its subdued colour scheme, it has a variety of informal lounge rooms scattered throughout the facility which allow for peaceful relaxation or individual family gatherings. The various courtyards and seating areas in the gardens offer its residents a very warm, welcoming friendly and safe “home away from home”.

Dedicated and caring staff provide outstanding individualized and personalised care for residents. They are supported by specialist Leisure and Lifestyle staff who are committed to providing residents with fun and meaningful social interaction through active engagement in well planned activities. Special events are celebrated. Bus outings occur frequently, special interest groups such as gardening, knitting or exercise programs are ongoing. Pastoral Care staff work with individuals or conduct group sessions. A physiotherapist provides ongoing care and assessment. Visiting podiatrists, hairdressers and dentists are available by appointment.
